Our South Hobart location is delightfully cosy and whilst we love impromptu visits we strongly encourage you to book a table if you’re a larger group, or you don’t want to be disappointed.

*Please note that our kitchen closes at 9pm and 8.30pm on Sundays, but the bar is open until close (let the good times roll!)
We open our South Hobart location for dinner from Wednesday through to Sunday and our open for lunch Friday through to Sunday.
We are closed on public holidays.

Our menu changes as produce available to us changes.
Expect to taste the seasons, see the best possible produce on your plate, the most interesting local drinks in your glass, and taste a menu that truly isn’t like anywhere else.
With smaller, larger, and snack-sized plates we’ve got you covered no matter your age, or hunger level. In fact all our plates are served for two – we won’t force you to share, but it does make it a little more fun when you do.

Oh well, we can’t all be perfect! Our menu is designed to work for a wide variety of palates and as they’re plates designed to be shared we encourage you to be a little adventurous and try something new…if you dare.

Our drinks menu is a proud celebration of Tasmanian distillers, vineyards, and makers, and the incredible array of spirits, wines and non-alcoholic drinks they produce.
In the interest of fairness we will occasionally let the exceptional non-Tassie drop make it onto our drinks menu – if you see them, you know they must be good to sit amongst a Tasmanian tipple.

Fueled by over two decades of shared passion for great food, drinks, and unforgettable moments, Jezz and Kathie simply wanted to open a place that had excellent, soul-satisfying food but felt like home (unlike home, pants are not optional).

Absolutely! We open for lunch every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 12pm.
You sure can, there’s no pressure to order a big meal but if you decide you want to pick at something small whilst enjoying your drinks we have smaller plates available.
